The monitoring presents the results of the residential and commercial real estate markets development in Moscow and Moscow Region in March 2011.
In March 2011, the elite primary market increased by new properties: a club house at 3, Pechatnikov per. and "Barkli Park" RC. By the results of the month the correction of the average price in the elite residential market did not exceed 1%.
The office real estate market remained rather active in 2010: the delivery of new projects was in progress, a large number of lease transactions on the high-quality office space were concluded; there are still a number of companies, which are looking for rather large properties "for themselves".
A technical opening of "Afimall City" retail-entertainment center in Moscow-City MIBC took place in March. AFI Development acted as the developer of the project. Besides, a new project of retail center in Moscow was announced in March: "Finstroy" developer plans to open REC at the crossing of MKAD and Altufievskoe highway at the end of 2012.
The active delivery of new settlements was recorded in the countryside residential real estate market in March 2011, the number of which increased by 3 times versus February 2011. However, the projects, offering for sale land plots without building contracts constitute the largest share of the new supply.
