По данным «Анализа мирового рынка хлебобулочных и мучных кондитерских изделий», подготовленного BusinesStat в 2018 г, за 2013-2017 гг продажи хлебобулочных и мучных кондитерских изделий в мире выросли на 3,9%: со 103,0 до 106,9 млн т. Ежегодно наблюдался рост показателя относительно предыдущих лет. Наибольший прирост был зафиксирован в 2016 г – на 1,2%. Хлеб и различные хлебобулочные изделия пользуются спросом во всем мире. Отличие только в видах хлеба, которые наиболее распространены в том или ином регионе. Их ассортимент разнообразен и постоянно пополняется новинками. Мировой хлебопекарный рынок непрерывно развивается, предлагая потребителю как улучшенную традиционную продукцию, так и оригинальные изделия.
